Must-have qualifications • 10+ years in software engineering, including several years managing multidisciplinary software teams. • Proven track record leading engineering teams of 20–50 people minimum (managing tech leads and engineers) to deliver complex software products on time and to quality. • Strong technical background with the ability to dive deep into architecture, code, and technical trade-offs and challenge or guide the team credibly. • Close familiarity with software project management methodologies — estimation, planning, risk and dependency management, and delivery tracking. • Demonstrated ability to resolve technical, product, and project-level problems professionally and calmly under pressure. • Experience in large organizations and working with large-scale clients such as banks / financial services. • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder-management, and communication skills. • Professional-level English.
