Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in automation/integration engineering or a similar role. Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar platforms; Workato is strongly preferred. Experience designing and implementing integrations with business systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and other SaaS tools. Proven ability to quickly understand complex business processes and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) concepts and Workato capabilities related to exposing or triggering recipes through MCP-compatible interfaces. Familiarity with using AI tools and methodologies to improve development and automation workflows, including creating or improving reusable skills and agentic workflows. Hands-on coding experience with JavaScript or Python for custom logic, data transformation, and flexible integration design. Strong familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, integration patterns, and authentication/authorization flows. SQL or advanced data transformation experience. Strategic thinking and the ability to influence and motivate teams toward efficient designs, best practices, and responsible use of platform capabilities. Good working knowledge of Git and version control workflows. Understanding of enterprise process frameworks such as Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and HR workflows. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to HaveExperience working with Cursor/Claude Code/Codex is an advantage. Experience with Workato in a heavy-use, democratized environment with tens of active builders. Experience implementing Workato/iPaaS version control or CI/CD, environment promotion, release governance, and rollback practices.
