Responsibilities System Architecture: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems from concept to deployment. Core Development: Develop efficient and reliable backend services primarily using Java. Infrastructure & Scaling: Optimize application performance and ensure the reliability of services running in a cloud-native environment. Data Management: Design and maintain complex databases, ensuring data integrity and query efficiency across relational and non-relational systems. Complex Integrations: Manage and implement multi-system integrations, handling high levels of complexity and technical interdependencies. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high quality. Requirements (Must Have) 5 years of professional experience in back-end software development. Advanced, deep-seated experience with Java and Spring development. Proven experience working with queue infrastructure e.g. Kafka/ Rabbit, Kubernetes, and AWS. Solid experience with PostgreSQL and/ or MySQL, including complex query optimization and schema design. Demonstrated ability to work on complex, multi-integrated systems where context switching and managing various moving parts are daily requirements.
