Quantum-Art is an early-growth full-stack quantum computing company developing state-of-the-art quantum computing systems based on trapped-ion technology, encompassing both hardware and software. The CFO will oversee all company financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, and financial risk management, at an exciting growth and expansion stage of the company. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with executive team members, as part of the company’s management, to drive financial strategy and business growth. We are looking for a hands-on CFO with the experience and ability to drive the company to strategic opportunities and international expansion. Responsibilities Financial Strategy, Planning, and Analysis Develop a dynamic financial model and financial roadmap aligned with the Company’s long-term vision. Lead the annual and ongoing budgeting processes in alignment with the Company’s strategic goals and work program. Conduct scenario planning and analysis, including revenue, cost, burn rate, and runway to ensure financial resilience. Strong experience in raising capital from US based growth and deep tech investors. Design capital allocation strategies, including aspects of internal vs. external collaborations and acquisitions. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Develop contingency plans and prepare for economic shifts or unexpected market changes or opportunities. Demonstrated ability to manage investor relations, capital markets strategy, relations with analysts, and financial institutions. Cash Flow Management & Operational Efficiency Manage and optimize cash flow and working capital to extend the Company’s runway. Implement cost-saving measures and improve operational efficiency by streamlining financial processes. Define and track key performance indicators and business metrics to enable data-driven decision-making. Financial reporting and oversight of accounting and tax functions
