Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenas We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security and commercial applications We are looking for a Development Manager to lead the development of advanced Electro-Optical assemblies at our Rehovot site, specializing in laser systems The position involves managing the design and development of cutting-edge multi-disciplinary Electro-Optical systems, with a focus on military-grade laser technologies Responsibilities Lead planning, synchronization, and coordination of development activities across engineering disciplines (including mechanical, optical, software, electronics and system engineers ) and stakeholders (e.g., program managers, customers, subcontractors, support and production teams) Make critical development decisions and approve key milestones Ensure compliance with project management requirements (schedule, scope, quality, budget, customer satisfaction) Oversee technical system requirements and lead formal technical events (IPTs, design reviews, integration, testing, trials) Prioritize engineering activities and evaluate alternatives across disciplines Develop prototypes and conduct complex experiments to support risk reduction and capability validation Allocate appropriate development resources and ensure delivery of system commitments Requirements B.Sc. in Engineering, Electro-Optics or Physics Ph.D./M.Sc. in Engineering or Physics–
