Role Overview Project Engineer leads the engineering activities of large-scale irrigation and water infrastructure projects, including pumping stations, bulk water conveyance systems, open-field irrigation systems (drip, sprinklers, irrigation machines). The role is responsible for developing integrated, optimized, and tailor‑made engineering solutions by coordinating multiple engineering disciplines throughout the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Project Engineering Leadership Lead engineering activities from feasibility through concept, general, and detailed design. Take full accountability for technical solutions and engineering deliverables. Support technical proposals and tenders, including engineering inputs and estimates. Engineering Scope & Deliverables Perform and manage data collection, surveys, site visits, and technical reports. Develop hydraulic, mechanical, electrical & control (E&C), and civil engineering solutions inc. drainage, earthworks, structural design. Prepare and review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and method statements. Multidisciplinary Integration Integrate irrigation design, hydraulics, agronomy, electro‑mechanical systems, piping, E&C, and civil works into cohesive project solutions. Interfaces & Stakeholder Management. Manage internal interfaces with Business Units, Engineering, Procurement, and Logistics. Act as the technical focal point for clients, consultants, and external engineering partners. Engineering Governance & Development Develop engineering documents including SOW, BOD, R&R, and procedures. Conduct feasibility studies, technical-economic evaluations, and support business development. Skills & Qualifications Mandatory B.Sc. in Civil, Mechanical, Water, or Agricultural Engineering; M.Sc. –
