Responsibilities Core Infrastructure: Manage and scale our large-scale AWS-hosted Linux server environment, ensuring high availability and performance. Tooling & Automation: Architect and maintain custom Python-based solutions for automation, internal dashboards, and self-hosted services. Engineering Enablement: Provide high-level support for our internal users, resolving complex environment and connectivity challenges to keep the team unblocked. Pipeline Reliability: Own the health and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions). Security & Governance: Proactively manage system hardening, backups, and routine security audits. Requirements 5+ Years of provable hands-on Linux system administration experience - MUST Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or Linux+ Proficiency in managing multi-user Linux environments including clients and servers. Experience working with AWS - MUST Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation and tooling. Experience integrating and configuring modern developer tools (e.g., Cursor) into the server environment. Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices. Experience with CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins, Github workflow) Strong communication skills with the ability to assist users of varying technical expertise. Knowledge with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
