Start.io is looking for a driven and commercially sharp Supply Sales Manager to join and expand our existing global Supply Partnerships team.
This is a quota-carrying new-business sales role focused on identifying, signing, and onboarding direct publisher supply, with a strong emphasis on mobile in-app publishers and app developers.
We are looking for an experienced ad tech salesperson with a proven ability to generate pipeline, open new relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and close direct publisher partnerships.
About the Role
You will own the full publisher acquisition cycle—from identifying and qualifying relevant publishers, through outreach, pitching, commercial negotiation, contracting, and coordination of the onboarding process.
Working alongside our existing Supply Sales Manager in the US and our broader global commercial team, you will help expand Start.io’s direct publisher footprint across key markets.
The strongest candidates will bring hands-on experience selling monetization solutions to app publishers and onboarding direct in-app supply through SDK, bidding, mediation, an additional integration paths.
You will work with app developers, publisher monetization teams, and senior business stakeholders, while collaborating closely with Start.io’s Product, Ad Operations, Legal, Technical, and Account Management teams.
If you are a proactive sales professional who understands the supply side of programmatic advertising, knows how to build a qualified pipeline from the ground up, and has a track record of closing new publisher business, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Own the complete new-business sales and onboarding cycle for direct publisher partnerships, with a primary focus on mobile in-app inventory.
Identify, research, prospect, pitch, negotiate with, and close new app developers.
Build and execute a territory and publisher acquisition strategy aligned with Start.io’s supply-growth priorities.
Develop a consistent pipeline of qualified direct publisher opportunities through outbound prospecting, industry relationships, referrals, events, and market research.
Sell Start.io’s publisher monetization solutions and clearly articulate our commercial, technical, and demand-side value proposition.
Engage with publisher decision-makers, including founders, CEOs, CROs, Heads of Monetization, Business Development leaders, and Ad Operations teams.
Assess potential publisher partners based on inventory scale, formats, geography, traffic quality, technical setup, monetization strategy, and revenue potential.
Lead commercial negotiations and manage the process through agreement signature.
Coordinate with Product, Ad Operations, Legal, Technical, and Account Management teams to ensure an efficient integration, launch, and handover.
Maintain accurate pipeline management, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and activity reporting in Salesforce.
Represent Start.io at relevant industry conferences, publisher meetings, and networking events.
