Job Summary
As a C++ Developer - macOS Platform Engineer for Cortex XDR, you will design and implement our next-generation endpoint protection solutions for macOS. You will play a critical role in building a robust security architecture that actively detects and protects against malicious activity. By taking full ownership of features from initial design to production release, you will directly contribute to revolutionizing endpoint security. Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of macOS endpoint protection features throughout their lifecycle, from initial design to production release.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and internal OS technical specialists to ensure seamless integration.
Research and adapt emerging technologies to enhance the capabilities of the Cortex XDR product suite.
Write comprehensive design documents, software development guidelines, and best practices to maintain high engineering standards.
Leverage leading AI tools to maximize development efficiency while maintaining a critical and discerning mindset.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience developing software using modern C++.
Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of complex software systems.
Strong background in multi-threaded and multi-process software development environments.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with OS internals and system-level programming.
Proven design, architecture, and problem-solving skills combined with a positive, independent learning mindset.
Practical experience utilizing AI tools to assist and accelerate the software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working specifically within a macOS software development environment.
Background in software security and understanding of common vulnerability detection.
Knowledge of Unix-style operating systems concepts and underlying architecture.
Experience in Swift programming for Apple platforms.
