A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering activities and drive operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering team.
Define priorities, allocate resources, and manage departmental workload.
Mentor and develop engineering team members while supporting their professional growth.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Optimize manufacturing and assembly processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow and operational performance.
Lead equipment and process validation activities, including protocol definition and execution oversight.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and transfer of new products into production.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Lead engineering projects focused on process improvements, equipment upgrades, and manufacturing excellence.
Develop departmental work plans, monitor progress, and ensure achievement of operational objectives.
Analyze manufacturing performance and implement corrective and preventive actions when required.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
5-10 years of experience managing Manufacturing Engineering and/or Process Engineering teams.
Proven managerial experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and industrial processes.
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Experience leading NPI and product transfer activities.
Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems is an advantage.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and project management capabilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent English, both written and verbal.
