The Group Our group develops image sensors that are integrated into the cameras of all leading smartphone brands. Team members are expected to gain a deep understanding of all system layers — from block and IP level through chip and system up to user interfaces. What will you do? We are looking for a motivated student to join our Firmware Engineering team and help build the scripts, integrations, and infrastructure that keep our development and verification workflows running. In this role you will write automation, connect tools and systems, maintain test environments, and develop internal utilities used by firmware developers and verification engineers. You will also explore how AI-assisted coding and automation tools can improve these workflows, under the guidance of senior team members. Responsibilities Write Python, shell, and TCL scripts for automation, data processing, log analysis, and developer tooling. Build and maintain integrations between firmware/verification tools, CI/CD systems, test frameworks, and reporting platforms. Develop and improve infrastructure for simulation and emulation environments (e.g., Cadence Palladium, CDE), including setup helpers, debug scripts, and result parsers.
