DustPhotonics, now part of Credo, develops cutting-edge Silicon Photonics technology for high-performance data center connectivity.
We are looking for a Senior Material Planner to join our Operations team and play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support our production plans while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
A core focus of the role is managing the material planning and supply aspects of working with contract manufacturers and subcontractors, including material flow, WIP visibility, and inventory control at external sites.
The role serves as a key link between Procurement, Production, and Supply Chain operations and requires ownership of complex planning challenges, as well as the ability to independently drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Own the material planning interface with contract manufacturers and subcontractors — including material supply, consignment inventory tracking, WIP visibility, and lot status follow-up
Monitor material flow at external sites and escalate deviations or risks to continuity
Develop and maintain material plans based on production schedules and demand forecasts
Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requisitions to ensure continuity of supply
Identify and escalate material shortages or risks to production continuity
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to resolve supply issues
Maintain accurate data in the ERP system (receipts, inventory transactions, order status)
Support expiry management, MRB, and material disposition processes
Participate in S&OP and supply review meetings
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and tools
Serve as a subject matter expert on planning systems and processes
Requirements
Proven experience managing the material planning interface with contract manufacturers and subcontractors, including consignment inventory and WIP tracking at external sites
Strong proficiency in ERP systems (Priority, NetSuite)
5+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain roles in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
Experience in Semiconductor / Chip Manufacturing – strong advantage
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-site supply chains
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
English – high level (written and verbal)
