All you need is: BSc in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent. 4+ years of experience as a validation engineer (test planning, execution, traceability, and release-quality judgment). 4+ years of Python for automation, tooling, and data analysis (not only ad-hoc scripts): structured code, reusable modules, and integration with CI or test frameworks where applicable. Solid software engineering practices with Git: branching workflows, code review, meaningful commits, and collaboration in a shared codebase. Systems-oriented validation mindset: understanding of OS/process basics, environments and dependencies, logs and diagnostics, configuration, networking fundamentals, and performance/stability considerations as they affect validation. Proven ability to write clear, concise, and well-structured technical documents (test plans, reports, runbooks, and conclusions backed by evidence). Fluent in English and Hebrew. Nice to have: Familiarity with defect tracking and validation tools (e.g., Jira) and test/CI ecosystems.
