About the Role
We are seeking a Network Engineering Manager to lead and grow floLIVE's global network engineering function, overseeing both the Network Architect and Network Engineering teams. This role owns the network organization's strategy, delivery, and people leadership — translating architectural vision into a resourced roadmap, and ensuring day-to-day operational and project work is executed reliably across all sites. You will act as the primary point of accountability for network infrastructure, balancing hands-on technical judgment with team management, budget ownership, and cross-functional and cross-geography coordination.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a global team spanning network architecture and network engineering, including hiring, performance management, and career development
Own the network organization's roadmap, translating business and infrastructure needs into prioritized architecture and engineering initiatives
Provide technical oversight and final review of network architecture decisions (LAN/WAN, routing, segmentation, hybrid cloud connectivity)
Ensure reliable day-to-day operations: deployment, monitoring, and support of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure across all sites
Define and enforce network standards, security policies, and change-management practices across the organization
Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and budget for network infrastructure and tooling
Own escalation management for critical network incidents, coordinating across teams and time zones
Partner with IT, Security, R&D, and Data Center/Cloud teams on cross-functional infrastructure initiatives
Coordinate network projects across floLIVE's global offices (UK, US, Israel, Bulgaria, China), ensuring consistent standards and local execution
Report on team performance, project status, and infrastructure risk to senior leadership
Requirements
10+ years of network engineering experience, including architectural and/or team leadership responsibility
Strong expertise in LAN/WAN, L2/L3 networks, BGP/OSPF, routing, VLANs, and ACLs
Hands-on background with FortiGate firewalls, Cisco ASR routers, and VPN technologies (site-to-site and client)
Experience overseeing global, multi-site network operations across distributed teams and time zones
Proven ability to balance hands-on technical depth with organizational and budget ownership
Experience with NAC (802.1X), wireless infrastructure (e.g., Cisco Meraki, WLC), and network security best practices
Advantageous: experience with Equinix Fabric/Edge services, Linux networking (DPDK/SR-IOV), automation, and IoT/telecom environments
Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and coordinating cross-functionally
