Before we get started:
Here at Ingenio, we'd love to talk with you regardless of your qualifications or years of experience. If you believe you’d be a great fit for this role, we invite you to apply even if you do not meet all points on the job description.
Who we are:
Ingenio is on a mission to make spiritual wellness a core part of modern self-care. We are a global media and technology company developing products that provide guidance on love, relationships, careers, and all aspects of life. We are passionate about connecting people with the world’s best advisors and content to restore spiritual wellness to its rightful place, easing the stress of modern life with trusted ancient practices.
Our global portfolio spans over 20 marketplace and media brands in the spiritual and emotional wellness space. Our flagship brands include Keen, Horoscope.com, Astrology.com, Purple Garden, Kasamba, and Kang.
How you’ll be impactful:
As a Copywriter on the Brand & Creative team, you'll help turn brand strategy into ideas, language, and experiences people remember. Reporting to the Creative Director, you'll develop concepts and copy across campaigns, social, email, performance marketing, product experiences, and more. You'll work closely with designers, marketers, product and UX teams, and other cross-functional partners to bring ideas from brief through execution.
You'll also play an important role in building and evolving distinct voices across our portfolio, protecting what makes each brand recognizable while continually finding fresh ways for it to show up. We're looking for a creative thinker who specializes in words: someone who can see the bigger idea, obsess over the smallest line, and understand when copy should persuade, clarify, entertain, provoke, or simply get out of the way.
What you’ll be doing:
Creative Concepting & Copy
Develop creative concepts, campaign ideas, and messaging rooted in brand strategy, audience insight, and business objectives.
Write distinctive, compelling copy across channels, including brand campaigns, social, email and lifecycle, performance marketing, digital experiences, and product touchpoints.
Translate big creative ideas across the customer journey, adapting the message to different channels and objectives without losing the core idea or brand voice.
Partner closely with designers and cross-functional teams to develop integrated creative work from brief through execution.
Bring curiosity about culture, consumer behavior, and emerging platforms to the work, identifying opportunities for our brands to participate in relevant conversations in distinctive ways.
Use audience insights and creative performance data to understand what resonates, identify new opportunities, and continually improve the work.
Manage multiple creative briefs and priorities across a multi-brand, multi-market portfolio without sacrificing quality or craft.
Brand Voice & Stewardship
Champion each brand's distinct voice across channels, ensuring consistency while finding new ways for it to come to life.
Shift confidently between different brand voices, audiences, and objectives without flattening them into a single house style.
Help evolve and operationalize verbal identities, translating brand strategy and voice principles into practical guidance and compelling creative work.
Establish copy principles and best practices that help teams create more consistent, effective, and recognizable brand experiences.
Partner with marketing, product, UX, and other stakeholders to bring a strategic and creative lens to how our brands communicate at every touchpoint.
Help define what great creative looks like for our brands and continually raise the standard of the work.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of copywriting experience, ideally working with consumer, lifestyle, wellness, or culturally driven brands or within a creative agency.
English Proficiency: Native or near-native level fluency - A must.
Our brands primarily serve English-speaking audiences, so the ability to write natural, culturally fluent, consumer-facing copy is essential.
Exceptional Written Skills: Proven ability to craft compelling copy and content with precise tone, natural idioms, and strong cultural context.
A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, exceptional writing craft, distinctive voice, and range across formats and channels.
The ability to translate brand and audience strategy into compelling creative ideas and copy.
Experience developing and/or activating verbal identities, ideally through a rebrand or significant brand evolution.
Strong understanding of how copy and creative need to flex across brand, performance, social, lifecycle, and product contexts.
The ability to move confidently between distinct brands, voices, audiences, and markets.
A highly collaborative working style and experience partnering with designers, marketers, product teams, and other creative disciplines.
Exceptional command of language, creative judgment, and attention to detail.
The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Comfort working across international teams and markets.
Curiosity about spiritual wellness and enthusiasm for helping build and modernize brands within the category.
