Responsibilities Design for Excellence & R&D Interface: Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews during early R&D stages to eliminate production roadblocks and reduce manufacturing costs. New Product Handover & Sustaining Engineering: Manage pilot runs, Alpha/Beta builds, and first-article inspections to validate production lines, transition products smoothly, and maintain ongoing sustaining engineering support. Engineering Infrastructure & PLM: Establish and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) routing, master data, and configuration control utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. Documentation & V&V: Author comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assembly instructions, Validation and Verification (V&V) activities, and write protocols and technical reports of all sorts. Root Cause Analysis & ECO Management: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-level failures during initial production runs, creating and managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECR) for continuous product optimization. Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Manage and collaborate with technical vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors both domestically and abroad to ensure parts
