About The Role We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our R&D team as a founding engineer for a brand-new product initiative at the site, focusing on the Identity, Non-Human Identity and AI Agents Security space. You will work closely with product and engineering leadership to architect, build, and scale our unique product offering. As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will lead the design of scalable, fault-tolerant systems that discover, analyze, and secure identities across complex enterprise environments. What You'll Be Doing Architect, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust distributed software systems at scale. Serve as the technical lead and domain expert for our new Identity and Non-Human Identity Security offering, guiding technical direction and cross-engineer collaboration. Partner closely with product management and leadership to align technical architecture with long-term business and product objectives. Build data pipelines that analyze, classify, correlate, and evaluate non-human identity tokens and permissions at enterprise scale. Design extensible, plug-and-play architectures optimized for high integration velocity, making it seamless and effortless to onboard new SaaS platforms (e.g., GitHub, Slack, Salesforce). Take end-to-end technical accountability, from early system design trade-offs to ensuring high availability, performance, and fault tolerance in production. Act as a technical multiplier and mentor, conducting design reviews, setting engineering standards, and elevating the capabilities of the team. Drive continuous innovation across our software stack to solve complex, emerging security challenges. Work in a high-velocity, agile environment that balances rapid execution with architectural excellence.
