At BlueBird Aero Systems, we develop and deliver advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS) designed for real-world operational environments. Our software is at the heart of these systems — connecting, controlling, and enabling complex capabilities in the field.
We’re looking for a Software Developer who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems, working with complex systems, and turning sophisticated ideas into reliable software.
What You’ll Do
Develop advanced Command & Control (C2) software and additional software solutions for unmanned aerial systems.
Design and develop complex, high-performance applications using C# and C++.
Develop multithreaded software and work with distributed architectures.
Design and implement microservices-based solutions.
Work closely with Software, Systems, Integration, and other multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Take part in the full development lifecycle — from architecture and design through implementation, integration, and testing.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or graduate of MAMRAM.
Hands-on experience developing in C# and C++.
Strong understanding of OOP/OOD and proven experience applying these principles in real-world development.
Experience with multithreaded programming.
Experience with distributed architectures and microservices.
High-level technical English.
Bonus Points if you have
Experience with Python.
Experience with video technologies such as OpenCV, FFmpeg, or GStreamer.
Experience developing Command & Control systems or other complex software systems.
Experience working in multidisciplinary or real-time systems environments.
Why BlueBird?
Because here, software doesn’t stay on a screen.
At BlueBird, you’ll work on advanced UAS that operate in the real world, alongside experienced engineers across software, systems, hardware, integration, and field operations.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Work on complex, challenging engineering problems with real-world impact.
See your software move from development into integration and operational environments.
Work with a highly technical, hands-on team where initiative and ideas matter.
