Job Area Interns Group, Interns Group > Engineering Intern General Summary The MACE QA and Test Development team is seeking a talented and motivated student to help drive the next generation of AI-powered test automation solutions. In this role, you will design and develop intelligent tools and AI agents to enhance debugging, automate test workflows, and improve system-level validation across complex 5G and embedded systems environments. You will work closely with experienced engineers on cutting-edge technologies, combining software development, data analysis, and applied AI to solve real-world engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities Develop AI-based solutions to analyze logs, failures, and asserts, and assist in root cause identification and fix recommendations Design automation tools to support test execution, regression flows, and validation pipelines Build solutions for cross-module analysis, identifying issues across interacting system components Contribute to AI-assisted test generation, including deriving test scenarios from requirements and design documents Implement tools and scripts (primarily in Python) to improve test efficiency, coverage, and scalability Minimum Qualifications Student pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering At least 2 year remaining until graduation | Minimum 3 days a week at office Strong programming skills (Python preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated, fast learner, and team player with good communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience or coursework in AI / Machine Learning / Data Analysis Familiarity with test automation frameworks or scripting tools Basic understanding of wireless communication systems (LTE/5G) or embedded systems Experience with Git or other version control systems Basic command of C++ and understanding of multitasking OS Familiarity with log analysis and debu
