Team members are expected to gain a deep understanding of all systems layers from block and IP level through chip and system up to user interfaces. What will you do? The role involves an in-depth exploration of image sensors and smartphone photography. You will learn about the tradeoffs between image quality, resolution, dynamic range, chip size, and power. Develop firmware in C on embedded processors with limited memory footprints. Develop firmware that controls and manages the entire chip system and datapath: Boot sequence, Control of Image processing blocks, HW IP configuration, Implementing RT algorithms, communication with external IC, Interface with the smartphone Application Processor, memory management, and much more.
