Open role
CTPO
Israel
Description
aiola is looking for a Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO) to own both what we build and how we build it — the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, together with the technology, architecture, and engineering organization behind them — and to serve as a key partner to the CEO and the business. This is a hands-on executive role for someone who moves comfortably between strategy, product discovery, and deep technical detail — setting the direction while stepping into the details when it matters.
You will lead R&D (~15 engineers) and the Product function, own a single product and technology roadmap across our voice AI and agent orchestration platform, and turn customer and market insight into a product that sales and GTM teams love and Fortune 500 companies trust. You will work closely with Sales and customers, including joining customer calls to run demos, uncover needs, and answer deep technical and product questions from enterprise prospects.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CTPO, CTO, CPO, VP R&D, VP Product, or similar senior leadership role, with real ownership of both product and engineering outcomes.
Track record of taking B2B / enterprise SaaS products from early stage to product-market fit and scale.
Hands-on product management experience: customer discovery, roadmap ownership, prioritization frameworks, and working directly with customers to define requirements.
Track record of leading and scaling engineering teams (~15+ people), and ideally building or leading product managers and designers.
Strong hands-on technical background — able to go deep on architecture and implementation, not just manage from a distance.
Experience building AI-native products, including designing user experiences around probabilistic / LLM-based systems (trust, accuracy, human-in-the-loop).
Experience building or scaling multi-agent AI systems / agent orchestration.
Track record building enterprise-grade, high-reliability systems at scale for Fortune 500 / enterprise customers.
Data-driven decision making — defining product KPIs, instrumenting usage, and running experiments.
Excellent communication skills, with experience in customer-facing settings (demos, discovery calls, technical sales support, POCs).
Experience in a startup / scale-up environment, with the ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
Own aiola's product and technology vision, strategy, architecture, and roadmap — making sure what we build is tightly tied to customer value, revenue, and company goals.
Lead, grow, and mentor an R&D team of ~15 people across voice AI, agent orchestration, and Salesforce/CRM integration, and build and lead the Product function (product management and design/UX).
Establish product processes for discovery, prioritization, specs, and delivery.
Develop deep understanding of our users — field reps, sales leaders, and RevOps — through customer interviews, usage data, and frontline feedback, and translate it into clear product bets.
Define and own product success metrics (adoption, engagement, retention, time-to-value, quality of data written back to CRM) and use them to drive decisions.
Shape the end-to-end product experience across voice, phone, and text — making complex AI feel simple, trustworthy, and natural in real field conditions.
Set the technical direction for a platform that must perform reliably in noisy, real-world field conditions — movement, background noise, varied accents, and imperfect data.
Drive the architecture and scaling of intelligent agent orchestration — the 'squad of specialized sales agents' behind each field rep's personal AI agent.
Ensure the platform delivers enterprise-grade performance, reliability, security, and scalability for Fortune 500 customers, in production — not just in demos.
Make hard trade-offs between new capabilities, enterprise requirements, technical debt, and speed to market — and communicate them clearly to the business.
Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership on priorities, trade-offs, and execution, and with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on positioning, pricing and packaging inputs, launches, POC success criteria, and customer feedback loops.
Represent product and technology in customer-facing engagements: deliver live product demos and serve as the senior authority in customer conversations.
Translate complex technical and product concepts into clear, credible answers for enterprise prospects, including tough objections around accuracy, security, reliability, and integration depth.
Drive engineering best practices, architecture decisions, development standards, and delivery quality across the organization.
Build one Product + R&D culture focused on customer obsession, ownership, speed, quality, and pragmatic execution in a startup / scale-up environment.
Be hands-on when needed — reviewing code, architecture, and product specs, challenging decisions, or diving into a hard problem alongside the team.
