The Wireless Connectivity R&D group focuses on advancing both current and future connectivity technologies across cellular (4G/5G/6G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, and beyond. Our mission is to: Improve real-world connectivity performance and reliability in production vehicles Maximize customer satisfaction for connectivity-dependent applications Explore new algorithms and system configurations across all layers of the communication stack Contribute to future connectivity standards and architectures About the Role We are seeking a Senior Researcher - Wireless Connectivity & AI to drive innovation at the intersection of wireless communications, AI/ML, and automotive applications. This role combines deep technical expertise in wireless systems with advanced data-driven methods to unlock new capabilities and improve real-world performance beyond current limits. What will YOU do? Analyze connectivity system performance using data collected from field deployments, lab measurements, and simulations Benchmark performance against commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) devices and identify key performance gaps Develop models and methodologies—leveraging AI/ML and analytical techniques—to improve connectivity robustness and user experience
