BSc degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field of study. At least 5 years of Backend Software development experience. At least 3 years developing for web. Passionate about writing clean code that can scale. Able to see the big picture and break down a project into milestones and deadlines. Able to take initiative and come up with ideas and solutions. Able to work with tight deadlines and a "getting things done" attitude. Able to prioritize tasks and work independently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide constant dialog between engineering teams. Strong sense of ownership.
