What you'll need: 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining production systems Strong backend fundamentals; Python is our primary language, but we value engineering fundamentals over specific syntax Proven experience owning systems in production, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance and reliability improvements Familiar with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, deployment pipelines, observability, and quality assurance (unit, integration testing) Experience with AWS and storage at scale (MySQL, Snowflake, Redis) A proactive attitude and a passion for providing technical solutions that bring an immediate business impact and ensure engineering excellence Strong familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Github Copilot, Cursor, or similar. A genuine AI-first builder mindset, leveraging modern AI tools as a force multiplier to compress execution cycles, cross stack boundaries effortlessly, and ship high-impact features.
