We are looking for An Electro-Optics (EO) Engineer to join our Operations Research and Electro-Optics group at our Haifa site. In this role, you will take part in cutting-edge research, development, and evaluation of advanced EO systems — combining physics-based simulations, numerical analysis, and Artificial Intelligence to shape the future of intelligent sensing and defense technologies If you are passionate about bridging deep physics understanding with innovative AI capabilities, come and be part of a multidisciplinary team driving real impact In this role you will Conduct operational research and advanced performance analyses to evaluate EO system capabilities in detection and sensing Develop advanced physics-based graphical simulations using Unreal Engine (UE) or other graphic/simulation engines Develop and implement AI/ML algorithms to enhance simulation performance, image processing, and overall system evaluation Develop mathematical and physical models to support system definition and technical Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including algorithm development, optics, software, and others Requirements B.Sc. in Physics or Electrical Engineering M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics, or related fields -
